I just think it's funny she was having a debate with people on FB like she was fighting with herself in her own mind. It is a job I do, a lot more than people thinks I do. I just honestly don't like people looking down on me cause I'm a Stay at Home Mom. I really enjoy it.

I would like to know what doing laundry is, cleaning, running errands, cooking, paying bills, taking care of kids, etc is. Being a stay at home mom you might not hit a time card but your day starts early and ends late. You don't have time to be sick. Its a rewarding unselfish job!!

ask her if she thinks being a nanny or child care provider is a "job". then ask why taking care of someone else's kids is considered a job and taking care of your own is not?

My step mom used to talk down about stay at home moms sooo much. Now she's suddenly "too depressed to work" and just keeps telling me to stay at home as long as I can 😂 funny how people switch up on you.

I know. Sometimes I'm to tired to cook I honestly wished I had more energy. It is really hard we moved to a new place, in June and their is stuff still in boxes my fiance works all the time. I try my best throughout the house. I honestly just seem like it never gets done because I'm always taking care of our Daughter,doing bottles, dishes, laundry, shopping, taking care of our puppy too, it's just to hard sometimes. I feel like I should get more credit then it's made out to be.

it is a job. the hardest job. people don't even know how hard it is to stay cooped up at home with a kid while being expected to cook, clean, bathe yourself and the kid, do the shopping, etc.

Staying at home is a job, and I salute those that stay home. I must admit I was one of those women that thought staying at home with your child was easy...Until I just had my daughter..ahhhhhh. I feel like I'm going crazy some days, I don't know how I'm doing. Now I'm going to be going back to work at night. It's going to be a bit of a struggle but I hope I can get the hang of things

That's how I feel it is so much harder and on a bad day when the kid isn't happy you aren't able to do anything.

Lol, I've tired my best not to agure with her about things if I post something on FB she always has to say something so I've been doing the same to her now. I have a Smile Mom account too I can't post nothing on there cause she's so opinionated but she thinks she knows everything and she's right and she's better than everyone else. I feel like it's a job cause I do so much and of course she's like we'll I can clean my house in a hour! But on that note she has her Mom watching her kids while she's at work. Shes a Case Manger. I don't know I couldn't imagine leaving my kids with someone all the time including my Mother.

It is definitely a job. My son is 6 weeks & I have never worked harder in my life being a SAHM. I can't imagine it is any easier with more kids.

SAHMs do everything childcare providers are paid to do...and then everything housekeepers are paid to do...and then everything accountants, tutors, teachers, and mediators are paid to do.

She's right, it isn't A job. It's SEVERAL!!!
