How do I pick a pediatrician and what questions should I ask? Been slacking on this and still haven't chosen one or even thought about who I'd possibly like to use.
I'll probably do the same honestly. If I run into a problem with them it shouldn't be too hard to change doctors right? @dang_dridri
Oh yeah I didn't ask any questions because I didn't know what to ask. Lmao. I just looked at ratings & things online for the doctors.
Call your local pediatricians office and ask if they're accepting new patients I like to google the doctors too and look at their reviews
I go back for a checkup on Tuesday so I'll ask the receptionist then! Thank you @jessicarose0602
I was thinking of just using the hospital pediatrician, and looking more into the doctors around here in the meantime. I'm still stuck on questions to ask though. @dang_dridri
The pediatrician at the hospital recommended me to one near my home & gave me a list of some others as well. I never had one picked.
@heykira, the receptionist at your OB office might have a reference sheet on file in the computer that they can print out for you. Good luck finding one, you may have to try a couple before you find the perfect one for you and your baby.
@ainsleighsmumma, thank you, I've asked my friends on fb but they weren't much help. Pretty much just told me who not to use rather than who they actually recommend. My dr gave me some names but I can't even remember who they were because like a dummy I didn't write it down
No it's not. Just keep important things for your records of course.
