any mums who already have young children feel judged for wanting another?
i mean, i want to enjoy my newborn, but when hes 6 months old id like to try again-: it took me 3 years to get him, so i dont see the harm, and my other halfs parents had a panic attack today when they saw a pregnancy test in my house (its the one i found out i was pregnant with my son with, so i kept it for nostalgia) and basically almost cried when i explained i wasnt pregnant again ..
whys is so wrong that i want another soon?

I think it's nice to have them close me and my brothers are really close I'm 22 and I have a brother who's 20 and one 19 and we are so close there my best friends can't imagine being with out them and there's only going to be 16 months In between my to its not up to anyone else as long as your happy and think you can handle it then it's no one else's business xx

Yeah it does. But i try to not care what ppl will say as im providing an bringing up my kids. @lolliigee

hes only changed his mind tonight, since his parents had that conversation, and we havent exactly been careful, i reminded him of that and he just said oh well youll deal with it :/ @sara-lou

Yeah iv been there an currently going through it. I have 5 then 2 then a 1 an now pregnant. Getting alot of negativity from everyone everywhere really

Well to be fair you both have to be ready & if he's changed his mind, which happens I don't think it's ganging up on you. You have a newborn. Maybe he's just realising how much it changes your life & needs a bit of time to adjust to being a parent before adding to the brood @lolliigee 😊

my other half has now decided he wants to wait a year or two, despite saying for the past 10 months that he wants to try again.. cant help but feel ganged up on xx

It really doesn't matter the children's age gap or your age. Providing your in a position to provide for another child & it's what you both want that's all that matters. Whether your doing school run at 28 or 48 it's what your happy to do @lolliigee 😊 When I mentioned to my mum I wanted to try for another (back when Morgan was around 1yr) she couldn't couldn't understand why. Because we were in a 2bedroom house she thought we should have a bigger house first. Then I reminded her she was renting a room in an old women's house when she had 2 kids lol. I think our parents just generally worry for us!
