I s'pose if there is medical history and they think there is a risk of harm to you or babe they will opt for one :) they told me because of my height I'd need one then that I wouldn't. Was in active labour for 26 hours then had to have emergency one. Hope all goes well bird xx

I have some medical problems which can cause me to have difficulty giving birth naturally so I think a c section would be safer for me and baby, but il be seeing the midwife on the 16th to discuss my birth plan so will see what she says @jenfer xx

You can privately but on the NHS there has to be medical reason as to why they would give you one. just curious as I had an emergency c section, why do you want a c section Hun? Xx
