Really annoyed at the moment. My sister who can't even be bothered to speak to me and who hasn't seen me since I was 6 weeks pregnant. Has the cheek to text my mother asking if her aunty can come see the baby when he's born. Her aunty is nothing to do with me we have different dads! I don't know what's annoyed me more the fact she's asked my mum the grandmother of our child! Instead of me the MUM of the baby and my partner. Or the fact she assumed just it's okay! Her aunty seen my other sisters kids once when they were newborn and hasn't bothered with them since. I think she just wants to be nosey as she doesn't really know me and my partner and seen me a few times when I was growing up and that's it. I'm not comfortable at all with her seeing my son as I dont know her that well. Me and my partner have both agreed on who we will tell when I go into labour and what the plans will be after he's here for visiting. Just close friends and close family. Feel like some of them aren't respecting our wishes

They can ask & plan all they like but that doesn't mean they can or will come. You have final say so you just have to speak up or not allow them in @robotunicorn Who would have someone they don't know come & visit? Seems bizarre to me lol

So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

Why Are Many Women Unaware of Their Own Anatomy?
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.
