I would say have patience it will go away on its on. My sons got a little firm as well.

My baby was born with the same thing. His was really big and I was really concerned as well. I went to the doctors 3 times. & all 3 doctors told me it would go away by its self. I had a c section. & he's going to be 7 weeks next Wensday & its gone down a lot you cant tell anymore but you can still kinda feel it. But at 1 month it was still very noticeable @jaunty

he's barely two weeks. I went for his first check up after leaving the hospital and the doctor said it was just a bruise but you would think it would go down after a couple days but it hasn't and it's just gotten firmer

Yes same here.!! Super squishy at the beginning and now it's not.. How many months is he.?

my newborn has a bump like that and his doctor said it was just a bruise from being in the birth canal too long. it was soft and squishy but its gotten a little firmer. it doesn't seem to bother him at all but she said it would go down in a few days and it's been a week with no improvement

Last time I went he was only two weeks and the doctor said I would go away now he's a month and it still looks the same my next appointment isn't till he is two months and nine days 😞 @roxell

Check with your pediatrician.I had a student(an infant) whose head shape was not even,similar to your child,and that baby had to wear a helmet to fix it
