Siting in my bathroom in a flood of tears while my mum try's to calm my little one down😩 I feel so helpless and useless with his colic he's so distressed tonight and I can't help him!

It's all trial & error @sensie I totally get how upsetting & frustrating it is because I felt that myself. I felt like I'm his Mum I should be able to comfort him. But it's sometimes out of or hands & it's not our fault. It's really tough but they do get through it. As their little tummies develop it gets easier for them. I didn't find infacol or gripe water helped. Max still has periods in the day or night he's in discomfort but he's much better than he was a week ago. Chin up & if you do have someone to help, let them just so you can take a break & a breather 😊
@babyboots, I've tried both x gripe water kind of works at the moment but not too great sadly and I'll give the over the knee technique a try xxx thank you I will do
have u tried infacol or gripe water hun? and of course your doing things right... there is no right or wrong in motherhood hunnie and babies do out grow it try lieing baby over ur knee facing the floor and gently rub there back in a circular motion.. or ask midwife if theres any baby massage lesson that helps colic hun xx
@megsssimo, your little girl is beautiful and my little boy will be 6weeks old next week Friday! I can't wait for him to grow out of it
Honestly it does get better, Ella was really bad until about 6 weeks old when we switched her onto comfort milk as a last resort and it did the trick! it's so overwhelming but just know you're not alone xx

I know it's not nice @sensie I had bad nights as well where my husband had to take over because I didn't know what else to do to help settle him. It's nothing your doing or not doing believe me. Colic is horrible, but it will get better! Thankfully they grow out of it.
@babyboots, it's just I hate seeing him in so much pain and so distressed😔 he's my first it's so scary I don't feel like I'm doing anything right because of how distressed he is xx and thank you xx

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
@sara-lou, yeah my mum takes over when she can see I'm getting too upset and frustrated with myself x I can't wait for him to grow out of it, it will be such a relief xxx
