@cheche27, yes if your on it too long it can but not everyones gains weight on the depo . everyones diffrent . i didn't gain anything on the depo

Yes if your on it for long periods of time. I was on it 3 years took a year and a half for my husband and I to conceive. Not to mention my periods have never been normal since, it makes you gain a lot of weight also. But everyone's different it effects everyone differently
