I agree, but I don't think it should be the first resort. Kids don't know right from wrong at first...but after a certain amount of other disciplinary actions (saying no, time out) and still the same bad or unsafe behavior a good smack is needed sometimes.

I agree with spanking. Honestly some kids need it more then others. It also depends on the child too.

heck yeah I agree completely with spanking a child. like man the kids that come over here back talk, fuck shit up, and just never listen and always do what they want. thank goodness they ain't my kid frfr. my parents spanked me and disciplined me and it made me a very good kid for it. I learned to respect my elders, have manners, do what I was told, and didn't curse or get in trouble or even back talk. so damn right my children will go through the same. no way I'm going to sit there and let my children disrespect me and not listen and back talk and get into trouble. no way will I have a spoiled brat as a child. if my kids need their butts popped. it will happen. everybody has their opinions on it. but I was raised that way, and so will my kids no matter where we are..

When done right and with love yes. You need to train a child up in the right way for it to become an amazing human. Also, all of us will at some point just smack their butt or hand anyway so it's pointless to say I won't do it.

Personally I don't think it does anything other than cause more problems because the child gets mad/embarrassed
