Quick question, we've got a fitted car seat... One of those that last for years and years so we're unable to take it out the car. When I'm leaving hospital is this going to be a problem or will they just need to see that we've got a carry cot and a fitted car seat in our car ? Don't want to get to hospital and then find we can't leave...
I got a car seat from a friend and a stroller online the carseat fits in the stroller but the shade won't close :( get a smaller car seat or keep it ?

So I got rid of my spacious Chevy Impala and now have a compact Hyundai Elantra. I’m trying to figure out which car seat would fit best in a smaller car.?? The car seat will go behind the passenger so there will be a little more room to move the front seat up.
Do you leave your car seat at the door with the hospital bag or do you keep it all in the car?
I have no idea who's car I'm going to put the car seat in 😭 Question, when leaving the hospital, is the car seat suppose to be in the room too?

@baby316, it id removable however it's not one of those car seats with a handle you know that you can carry about with you, so once it's fitted it kind of stays put X

I've just rung my midwife and they're going to ring to let me know what's what. Bit annoying otherwise as we'd have to borrow or buy another one ! Nightmare @beadyeyes93 x

Check with your midwife as my hospital would not let me leave until I brought I car seat in and put baby into it and they even make sure I strapped him in properly too.!! Xx

Last year I just left with baby in my arms without a problem they didn't even ask to see the car seat after being told its in the car x

at one of my antenatal class someone asked this question and the midewife said it's not a problem. when I left hospital with my little one the midewifes warnt even there all busy doing other things, but I had a normal car seat tho

We've got the car seat fitted to the car, I'll ask the midwife when I see her on Tuesday - I'm sure if the OH drives to the entrance they'll be able to see inside our car? Hmm 🤔 x
