Isabella's umbilical cord freaks me out.. I hate changing her diaper or putting lotion on her belly!!! when is this going to fall off ???

so am I lol I was so freaked out when it got wet. even when it fell off I freaked out lol I had my husband change all the diapers and and clean it because I thought I was going to fall off. he is fine though, try not to freak out to much. @mommy2isabellafae
OMG I keep it dry at all times I'm so scared it hurts her.. I'm hoping this thing falls off soon lol I'm a ftm so I'm kinda freaking out haha @firsttimemom93
@mommy2isabellafae, my son's fell off at 10 days. it would have fallen off sooner but my husband kept forgetting and got it wet during bath time twice. and my son peed threw his diaper and soaked it twice. I was so terrified I was going to pull it off, but I didnt, it fell off in one of his footy pajamas! now he has a cute bellybutton!

I feel the same way! I'm kind of grossed out by my daughters. She will be 2 weeks Sunday and it's still attatched
keep it clean with water at qtip and it will be fine.@
@mommy2isabellafae, my daughter (Izabella as well) hers fell off almost 2 weeks after she was born and I was putting rubbing alcohol on it.
it never happened to me.
