okay so I need a little help here... I checked my cervix a little bit ago and they are high and closed, but the are soft and hard and I'm having milky discharge that's a little stretchy. I'm taking a test tomorrow but idk what all this means

How can it be hard and soft at the same time? Milky white discharge could mean an upcoming period. I'd wait until the day of or even a week after your missed period. If you are, it's more than likely too early to detect in urine.

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
my period is in a week I have a 31 day cycle but I ovulated two weeks ago. and idk it's weird. it's soft but then it feels a little hard. and I didn't have any discharge when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter
