So today, I've had this excruciating headache that feels like someone is hitting me with a baseball bat repeatedly along with dizziness and abdominal pain/cramps.
I called the doctor and she said to take 2 extra strength Tylenol.
I told her I don't handle Tylenol well and she said to take a nap.
Am I overreacting when I want more than "take a nap"??

You can't take any other meds unfortunately. When I get my migraines ( I have chronic ones) I either Lay in a dark room with a heating pad behind my neck, take Tylenol with a soda with a lot of caffeine like Mountain Dew, and that usually works for me

I'd drink a bunch of water, eat if you're hungry, use peppermint essential oil and try to take a nap. I hate taking any meds too

Yeah, I know I can't have any other meds, that wasn't why I was upset. When she told me to take a nap she said it like a question. Like she was unsure of the advice. This wasn't my normal Doctor, this was someone on call.
