Mommy's please trust your instincts. If something doesn't feel right take charge and don't go based on what others say. If you feel like you need to act on it, do it no matter if someone else thinks it's silly. I have a rocker thing I used with Ellie that worked great so I brought it out to use with James. I noticed his head would droop down and It worries me so I was going to put it away again and my mom told me I was being dumb that he'll be fine. I asked her if she could watch him while I go get ready, before going upstairs I grabbed a blanket to prop him up a bit so his head wouldn't hang and my mom again said I was being too dramatic that she'll be watching him and brought up how Ellie used it and was fine. I had an uneasy feeling while being upstairs so I came downstairs and I saw my baby there purple. I scooped him and he was so limp but I kept myself together and started patting his back and massaging his chest and he let out this scream that sent chills down my spine and he started breathing again and his color came back. Once I saw he was okay I kind of went numb and couldn't stop crying and I was so mad at my mom. I knew something didn't seem right and I didn't act on it right away. Idk what would've happened if I didn't come down because my mom was cleaning and thought he was sleeping.. She keeps apologizing and was shocked. I knew her experience with 6 kids gave her confidence and she didn't expect this but I'm just happy he's okay. So please no matter how crazy people may make you seem for being over protective , go with your gut feeling. 😞
Yes same with the boppy too I notice his head stoops cause it's too big so I put a blanket under him to level him out. I gave away my bouncer with my daughter for that reason because I couldn't level her out even with a blanket under her and I didn't want to risk it. My mom told me even since before that giving it away was ridiculous and I was over reacting but you can never be too careful when it comes to babies. Aww he just wants some mommy lovin' too 😊 @belle6414
@mommyagain86, WOW reading that brought me to tears. That's horrible and to think it happens often.
@luuuuuucyyy, I did take him in just to make sure and everything was good thank god😊
Exactly. It's easy for them to criticize and open their mouth because it's not their children. We're the one who have to deal with the pain if something happens and in your case i would much rather do everything I can to make sure everything's good than live with "I should have's" or thinking I could've done more. I want to know I did everything and more. Do what you have to do Hun I know you're doing a great job 💕 @showersoverflowers
so happy you went down to check on him. definitely so strong for staying calm too. i'm sure that was a very scary moment seeing James that way. i always go with my instincts with my son. reading this ill definitely never second guess myself whether it seems crazy to other people or not even more so now.
I'm so sorry that happened to you..😢 I feel the same way with my daughter when she's in her boppy or her bouncer I feel like she might stop breathing like that so I prop her with a blanket too and I have an video monitor on her always. my bf thinks I'm needy towards the baby😥 but he's really just jelouse of her taking my attention.
Omg thank god he's ok and you got to him on time. I read something not so long ago that reminded me of this. ссылка
thank god he's ok! you should still go get him checked to see if everything is ok mama!
I'm sorry this happened to you. It's so important to not rely on the words of others. I cannot stand the "my kids did that all the time" line. That is NOT helpful to moms at all. If something is odd, ask a doctor or someone with experience on the subject. people still tell me I am wasting my time with physical and occupational therapies for my older son...even a 2 years after a diagnosis and extensive therapy processes to keep him from falling behind in his physical milestones. they claim their children went through the same thing and I just sit back and wonder if that were the case, why did they NOT seek help for THEIR children?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Yes go with your instincts please. It's not worth something bad happening /: @mamaash
