so my son has a lot of wet diapers but still cries as if he's hungry could it be that he needs formula to get full? I don't want to give it to him because if I have to change my diet then I will but he's getting wet diapers like crazy.
@cjones, I push the thought her not getting enough out of my mind since she is gaining weight and have more than enough wet diapers. I do give her formula once a day at night right before bedtime because she will sleep longer that first go around so I can sleep. My daughter cries a lot which is partly my fault I don't allow her to cry it out because she doesn't know how to self soothe herself. She uses the boob to soothe herself after she feeds but I take her off when she isn't eating and give her a binky. She only takes one binky which was the one from the hospital.
@bri28, in think so too but he won't let me rib his belly to sooth I have to feed him then rock him right after. for him to be calm but sudden noises wakes him right back up.
Maybe he's colicky? My firstborn was and it was horrible. She would cry so much after each feeding, poor thing
I agree, my son cluster fed at one point ale very half hour! It was exhausting! hold him/do some skin to skin. I do discuss free about frozen pops/might be too young.
@cubanese, he doesn't like the pacifier.
@mum2logi I just want to make sure he's good. he cries a lot like every other day
if you feel like he's not getting full, try a little cereal with expressed milk. I'm not a fan of cereal but if you don't really want to use formula this might be an alternative.
I agree with @cubanese . If he is having plenty of diapers he should be fine. He may want comfort.
@neik84, my son will only take it off you hold it the four 5 seconds and he will only keep it if he is tired and already taken care of like fed, changed, burped.
