From 35 weeks until 41+6 yes! It hurt so much to get up.
Oh lawd lol @jeniel do they allow you to walk up n down the hall to try and help the labor?

honestly, just go with an open mind. Also make sure you have someone reliable with you. my husband was my rock durring this time. i was in labor for 48 hours. You can not eat, they give you ice chips. For me i wasnt able to use the bathroom b.c the fluid arounf my son was low. You also have to be ready for the pain. but you can ask for the epidural anytime you please. also please bring lip blam. no lip gloss, none of that fancy stuff. cause your lips will get dry from lack of liquid intake. dont expect for them to check on you. lol after they put that thing up you vagina they forget about you for 12 hours. so be patient.. they checked me only twice, and thats b.c i went crazy. lol, dont be like me. and walk up and down the hall way yelling for someone to get the baby out
I was induced with Cervadil first. That was in for 8 hours and NOTHING. Then they tried Cytotech and I got to a 2. By then, I already needed Morphine because I was having back labor. Soon after that, they gave me an epidural so that they could insert a foley bulb into my cervix. That dilated me to a 4 and they started Pitocin which baby did not like causing them to have to flip me from one side to the other constantly. This caused the epidural to "pool" on one side of my body while I had contractions on the other. By day 3, I had not eaten or slept. I was so tired I didn't know if I could push. Come to find out, my son's head was stuck in my pelvis and he ended up having a subdermal hematoma, which is nothing serious but it looks like a goose egg for awhile. I went in for a c-section at 7:20 am and all was said and done by 7:50 am. He was born a healthy 7 lbs. 7 oz. Now, my labor sucked but that is just MY labor. Just know going in that things can go wrong and you just need to go with the flow to the best of your ability!

be prepared being induced u don't get breaks from the contractions and eat a big meal before u go to the hospital cuz once ur in u aren't allowed to eat all ur allowed is ice chips and maybe a juice. and try and get a lot of sleep the day before cuz those contractions keep u up
