Have you tried using a nipple shield? My lactation consultant suggested it to me when I started breastfeeding and it really helped my LO attach to my breast and get milk. About 4 weeks, I started pulling the nipple shield off when he took a natural pause and then my nipple would be pulled out enough for him to latch. At 7 1/2 weeks now, he is latching like a pro!
