so my mom and i were arguin about how i dont want her in delivery room and how im grown and married and she doesnt respect that... she decides to say things like "well idk how long i have left to live & im the only mother u will ever have i should get to be there" ( which she always says bc she has lots of health issues) so i told her to stop guilting me bc we are all gonna die one day. she then drops the bomb on me saying she has CANCER!!!! i asked her if my brother knew and she said no. i told her she needed to tell him or i would. well come to find out... she still waiting back on the results so she doesnt even know yet if she has it and she jus threw it out there while we were arguing. who does that? i feel she did it out of spite. i hope she doesnt have cancer but if she doesnt, i am DONE with her. she just wanted to hurt me bc i wasnt letting her get her way.

aww.. I hope the test comes back that she doesn't have it. you should let her be there... I wished my mommy could be there with me but she had to work

seriously!!! i was crying uncontrollably . as much as i dislike her i LOVE the shit out of her shes my fucking mom. then when i make her tell my brother... the story all of a sudden changes? im pregnant and cant have this stress! im so hurt that she would be that selfish @babes101116

I disagree @ktwins188, it's up to her. And it sounds like it'll be more stressful having her there, she sounds totally selfish and controlling. It's supposed to be about mom dad and baby not grandma

no. regardless if she has it or not, that is not something i want for my delivery. it is not about her. my whole life she has made everything about her. this is about us. this situation just shows it even more. why cant she jus respect my decision without throwing it out there that she has cancer when we start to argue about it?!. @ktwins188

my mom always does this to me. (I'm originally from canada) and she's been telling me my grandma is going to die so I'll have the baby at home. which ywa my grandma is old it may happen but I can't just uproot myself and stay there for 4 months waiting for the baby. but it's her way of trying to control what I'm doing, so she can show me how to "properly be a mom"
