When did you moms start your babies on like rice cereal? My baby wants to nonstop eat

@meganalyssa, When I started my daughter on cereal I did oatmeal. Rice cereal has no nutritional value for them whereas oatmeal has iron and vitamins.

When did you start?

I think our babies were born the same day @meganalyssa my pedi said 4 months for my son. I think @theinkedmommy started Lainey at like 5 months, right?

Mine did too, but my mom started me at 3 and I think she'll be more full if I give her a little bit

I just happened to scroll past this again. I don't know if you know that you have to tag people back or they can't see your comment. My son just turned 3 months and I gave him a couple bites of carrots. He did just fine with them. You do what you think is best. Everyone says something different. My pedi says 4 months but the AAP says 6 months so it's really at your liking and/or when you feel baby is ready. 😊

@jacesterlingsmommy, I did 5 months. I wanted to wait till 6 but she gave me the signs that she needed more than formula before 6 months.

@meganalyssa, I started at 5 months because my daughter needed more than formula. I wanted to wait until 6. You can start at 4 if you want to. All up to you.
