need some advice. my little one is 4 weeks old and is on 4 Oz bottles hen used to sleep 3/4 hours during night but is only sleeping 2 now and waking up instantly hungry, should I try him on 5 Oz even though my health visitor has said he shouldn't be on 5oz yet ? I don't see why not if he's hungry he's hungry! she said " just get up every 2 hours it won't hurt ya " that isn't the point !!

If he's finishes the bottle and is still looking for more then he must need more. Not all babies follow the guidelines on the tin. They will stop eating when they've had enough xx

So longs as he's not drinking and then sleeping to long because that may indicate he's had to much and it can stodge the baby out. Try it in the day first and see how he responds x

Ugh I hate the HV's sometimes! All babies are different, all you can do is try him with 5oz and see if it helps it won't do him any harm - if he's had too much he'll let you know! I had the same thing with my daughter and she's 16 weeks today ... Good luck!x

Do what the baby wants. Every baby is different so they can be cathartically about the oz each baby needs x
Opinions on hungrier baby milk? My girl is drinking well over 30 oz in 24 hours. I tried her with water inbetween feeds but she just won't settle in till she has milk as she's hungry not thirsty. She's awake like 18 hours a day 😭
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Science! My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
ok ladys i need to know how to build up my milk i pump because my son wont latch and i can only get a oz to a oz and a half to come out of each boob some times 2 oz if im lucky i eat good drink plenty of water and pump every hour and my son is drinking 4 to 5 oz every 2 3 hours so can anyone help on how to get more milk

don't listen to hv, he's your baby, you do what you think is best hun, Dylan was on 5oz at a month old and he's not on 7oz and food xx
