My son is one week and a dr. recommend giving him one ounce of Apple juice to help him sleep. has anyone heard of this?

@cassity, yes ma'am. I use organic apple juice, Simply is a good brand.
I e never heard of that in a baby so young. Plus, newborns are supposed to be crazy sleepers. My son would only sleep while held for 2-3 weeks. I think it's a little extreme seeing as he's only a week old. But I suppose it comes down to how much you trust your dr and what your instincts are. But the sugar in that will wake him up if anything!

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

What do YOU judge
Clearly, no one is a perfect parent nor do we know everything. But what’s something you judge a parent off of or just irks you?
@minimontez he just hasnt been sleeping at all. maybe 20 minutes here and 30 minutes there but he just wakes up crying because he is constipated. So his dr. recommend Apple juice to help him sleep.. if never heard of it
