I really want breastfeeding to be successful this time around. I breastfed my son till 3 months then stopped because it was just too painful for me. are there any tips and tricks you lovely ladies can share to help me be successful?
I know at the hospital one comes to the room after you give birth, I'm going to try to get her number this time around @woeishannah
You need to see a lactation consultant if you have any issues this time around because pediatricians don't know much about breastfeeding.
the pediatrician kept telling me because I'm very pale it would be painful for me @woeishannah idk why that has anything to do with it, but she told me that at least 10x with my son.
I might exclusively pump if nursing B hurts as much as nursing Eddie did. did anyone tell you why it hurt you @rkline03 ?
last time I didn't have a pump we couldn't afford one (over 3 yrs ago) I'm hoping my insurance will cover one this time, what kind of nipple cream @rkline03 ??
it didn't hurt I just wasn't comfortable with it. I was told though that if you are pale and low in iron it can hurt more.
