Do any moms have advice for me??? My 5 month old still gets up every hour to 2 hours. Last night he woke up 7 times between 10pm and 6am. I have to get up at 6 every morning so I am exhausted. I got no sleep. Idk how to get him to sleep better 😭
He loves his crib lol @amandaphillips he takes his naps in his crib. My husband just doesn't want him sleeping in it at night lol
I think that has helped my daughter too. I take her in her room each day and lay her in her crib while she's awake with the lights on so she gets used to her room and crib. Makes her feel secure since it's a familiar environment.
@amandaphillips, no. I want him to sleep in his crib, but my husband doesn't want him to lol
He'll get there!! Just keep the consistency of a schedule. It will help 😃 does he sleep in a crib?
@amandaphillips, it's okay! He still woke up like 4 times in the middle of the night 😩 we fed him a green beans and a bottle before bed and he still kept waking up. He likes to wake up constantly through the night, but stay in bed till 9 lol ugh
She sleeps in her crib in her own room! Sorry this is so delayed 😫
@jaxmomma, yes ma'am it's all worth a shot, & at least returnable if it doesn't work. She told me if it worked for fussy twins it had to work for everyone 😁
@angiek, thank you so much! I'll definitely try that also!
@jaxmomma, the Dohm sound machine is what works for us. It's just white noise (has a tiny fan inside) a mama of twins got me one as a gift & I have to say it really soothes both her & I. I've actually gotten some great sleep since using it. Check out the reviews on Amazon. Good luck, hope you get some rest soon sweetie!
Oh that would be amazing! @amandaphillips does she do sleep, pac n play, or sleep in a crib?
Great! Let me know how it goes for you. My daughter went from waking up every 2 hours, to sleeping 8 hours, to now the 12!
@amandaphillips, thank you! I will try putting him on a schedule like that to see if it works. We've only done veggies so far. His belly is so small, he can only finish maybe a quarter of the jar lol but I'm going to try that schedule today and see how it works!
My daughter did the same from about 3 months til 5 months. She is now on a schedule and goes to sleep between 7:30-8pm every night and sleeps 12 hours straight. I got her on a consistent schedule. I feed her oatmeal & a fruit in the morning for breakfast between 7:30-8am and I feed her a vegetable & rice cereal at 7pm every night, along with a bottle. If she gets a bath that night, I'll do that at 6:30. I don't know if your little on is eating fruits/veggies yet but if he is, a friend of mine suggested to me not to give fruits at night because of the natural sugars, can sometimes keep baby up. Also, I think my LO is teething. So I give her Tylenol every night after she's fed. I also have a sound machine running all night while she sleeps to help her and block out the surrounding noises. I know it's tough when they go through this phase, if you look up the "4 month wakeful period" you'll see it's very common and it's because they are going through so many changes with their development. Try these things and see if it starts to get better. Good luck & if you need anything let me know. 😄
Yes. He may sleep an hour throughout the whole day. He gets so tired, but will only take like a 30 min nap. And the bath doesn't make him tired either. I'll give him s full bottle and he will fall asleep at 8-9, then wake up at 10 thinking he had a power nap. Then the rest of the night goes down hill 😩
have you tried keeping him up most of the day and giving him a bath right before bed in bedtime baby soap?
I'm a FTM and trying to get my baby to sleep through the night. What are some tricks you ladies used? He will sleep from 10:30-2 but then wake up every hour to two hours after

8 healthy crock pot meals (7 to freeze and one for dinner tonight) prepared and cleaned up in less than two hours (would have taken less but I have a newborn so I was limited to one hand at times). I feel accomplished and am soooo looking forward to not cooking every night!
Anybody else body gets them ready for baby schedule the last month before birth where you wake up out of nowhere every certain amount of hours??? I've been on this kick every 2-3 hours I wake up out of my sleep
So, this having to pee every hour is annoying. I just want to sleep in 😭
Any ideas on how to get an almost 1 year old to sleep on their own? I love co sleeping but it's got to the point where I can't even pee because Seth wakes up screaming if he's alone for more a minute, it's draining and I get no time to myself, would just be nice that once he's in bed to be able to have some time for me and my partner but I have to be In bed with Seth at 7/8 otherwise he won't sleep, I love co sleeping but I can't be doing this with him when I'm up every 2/3 hours with a newborn ...
Oh ok!! Let me know how it goes if it gets any better!
