how does everyone else deal with getting people to get whooping cough vaccinated? do you ask everyone that's going to be in contact with baby to get one? i do feel bad for asking people to get one but at the same time I need to protect my baby an if someone wasn't vaccinated and I let them near him an he got sick I'd never forgive myself.

but then I worry what about extended people like doctors an nurses etc just other general people. i can't wrap bub in cotton wool until he's old enough to get injection himself. ugh just wondering where everyone else stands on this sub?

:( it's not nice at all really wish they would finally bring something out that that kills cancer! the amount of people that had had it or have got it is absolutely ridiculous. just try keep positive Hun I no thats alot easier said than done. i hope it's working for her and she will be here for many yrs to come I know someone that had it all threw there body he was very very close to not being here and he's been in remission now for about 3 yrs and still going strong. so it's not always the worst outcome. <3 <3

That's a good idea. Yeah I know, it sucks. She had chemo and radiation the first time but this time she's being treated by a homeopath. She's been on his treatment for a year and a half and still here so I'm praying it's working and she will be with is for a long time. I don't know what I'd do without my mum

I didn't ask my family and friends but until baby had his first vaccinations I made everyone wash their hands before handling him and no one saw him if they were slightly sick or getting over an illness etc. a friend of mine put a post on Facebook saying no one would be able to see the baby unless they got a vaccination for whooping cough. It was hard for me as my mum is really anti vacc and has been through cancer treatment and currently is going through it again so I didn't want to pressure her. I just made sure everyone washed their hands like a maniac!!

It's not the cheapest needle to get and your friends might only come visit for a couple hours max, I wouldn't stress over that. Just immediate family that will be around him really often for the first 7 weeks :)

My boyfriend and his parents got it done because they're the only ones who have constant contact with her. Any other friends or family I said were fine because most of them have had it recently due to other babies being born in the family. And just that if any had been sick in any way, I didn't want them visiting until they were completely better.

I outright told immediate family they had to get it done or they couldn't come see the baby. My mother in law was not impressed. Lol. ;) Everyone got it done though.

So My coworker does not get vaccinated for anything due to religious practices and she’s worried about our job making it mandatory since they discussed it earlier this week. It’s crazy how when vaccines even started or came about we were told it would be voluntary but now it’s mandatory and people need a verification card to go certain places. We even have certain states doing lottery drawings just to make people get it. people shouldn’t fear losing their jobs or having to go against their religious beliefs when we were told it was voluntary. I think this is wrong that companies are doing this.

I Have a question mommies I’m a First Time Mom and everyone keeps saying when my baby get here there gonna take my baby but I don’t trust people like that and I promise I’m not trying to be mean but I don’t want anyone to have a my baby and I know people are going to ask so my question is How do you say no without being mean ?🤔 I don’t even plan on letting my child spend the night with people when he gets older it’s just so much happen to me as a kid and I don’t want that for my baby
