my son is 19 months too and he is doing the same thing now and tells me he did poop poo after he goes number 2. I would say it's a sign . I still need to get him a toilet seat so he can try going.

I think so and going to the corner to poop is biggest sign my neice did that she was embarrassed to go in diaper so she go in corner or under desk they start realizing adults don't go in diapers it in front of people and get embarrassed.
