ok so I see its very common then I just thought I'd breast feed and do formula to give my body a break if I feel sore. plus to see which he may prefer but wasn't sure if they can get sick from the artifical formula verses raw milk

You can do both I would just look for a bottle that's similar to breastfeeding also make sure you find one that has the least amount of air going through. The air will cause them to get a tummy ache

Some people have to. It is breastfeeding and supplementing with formula. (Ftm, not sure how babies handle it.)
