Is it crazy that I'm super nervous about getting a iv when I go into labor. Just something about needles I'm horrible with them. :(

me too girl I'm so nervous when it comes to needles but my mom always tells me that will be the least you will be worried about when your going through contractions and labor lol
ugh. Lol I'm nervous about labor too but I have such anxiety when it comes to needles
not crazy at all. lol. I've had 3 and I'm still nervous about having another one. they scare me. lol
Ask them to put it in the top of your arm, right above your wrist. They USALLY do the hand, which is more annoying when you move it. It's so much better in the arm than the top of the hand. And just think to yourself, your going to push a baby out, that needle is nothing compared to what you will be doing hahah I hate needles myself, and that's what I told myself.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

When I went in for my laparoscopy they blew the one in my arm... Then my doctor really got into the veins in my hand... So that is where they put my IV... Hurt so bad could barely move my hand..
