When did you ladies get to schedule an appointment to be induced????? Tomorrow is my scheduled…

I was induce when I was 39 weeks.

this is my 3rd so they definitely wont make me go to 42. @b3autifulm3ss

@babynessa, was there a specific reason why you got to be induced at 39? Just curious if it has to do with like dilation or whatever

I just asked when I was 38 weeks to be induced and my doctor checked me. Then said ok if I wanted to be she's ok with it. So she scheduled my induction when I turned 39 weeks. I signed a paper and went to the hospital that Friday to be induced.

When I went in for my 39 week appointment, I told my midwife I didn't feel safe going over 40 weeks. She just told me all the risks, and said she'd call labor and delivery and see if they had any dates I could get. My baby was measuring a week ahead already... Very thankful I was induced at 40 weeks because my baby was born 8lbs 7oz and turns out my placenta was starting to get old! It was time for her to come out but my body wasn't dilating

Thank you ladies! very helpful. This is baby #3 for me and my doctors made me wait till i was over 40 with both and they both ended having their first bowel movement inside and im terrified it will happen again. @klove2016 @babynessa

Yep! I understand!! @asears23 that's why o didn't feel safe going over 40 weeks. Id maybe bring that up to your doctor. Idk if each state is different, but I don't think they can deny you getting induced if your full term.. That's why I told my midwife I wanted to be, and not wait.

thank you! Im gonna tell them tomorrow that i want to be induced this week. ill be 39 weeks on tuesday
