If he dad isn't going to be there I wouldn't let my child go... It's like giving her to a complete stranger if she doesn't know them... That can traumatize a little child....

I wouldn't do it. she isn't used to them so I'm sure she wouldn't be happy and it could be somewhat traumatic for her.

They were more involved when she was smaller because I was bringing her up there to see them. But we had a falling out where they bashed me on social media so I no longer go up there. She's stayed up there overnight without me a total of 3 times(two of which she was with her father) and I was a nervous wreck and me and her dad agreed to no more overnights for a while. They want me to either bring her up there or let them come get her and they are basically strangers to her because she hasn't seen them but maybe twice in the past couple of months.

@xo_skinnyminnie, an over night definently not. it would be differnt if they were involved in her every day life. but 11 months to go with "strangers" I would say no.

my daughter just turned three and the first time she ever went out of town without my husband and me was in May. She went on an over night trip with my dad to Louisiana to get some seafood from family. But even that took convincing and she's used to being with my parents. She decided to spend the night off for the first time 2 weeks before she turned 2 and that was with my parents. But the main thing is what you're comfortable with.

in that case i wouldnt at all... unless i went and made it a day trip.

Mommy instincts say hell no unless their dad is with them, even then no overnights until much older lol

she doesnt know them, they live far away. they never come to see her? never lol idk hunny. you gotta go with your mommy instincts.
