Boyfriend thinking about getting married then going navy...not sure how I feel about this yet....
My brother was stationed in fort Bragg! Everything you're saying is hella true! @studio.ghibli.mom23
@studio.ghibli.mom23, we were at camp lajune his whole 4years and it was the exact same in Jacksonville
Absolutely @savanahr777 it's extremely hard but what irritates me most about being a Military wife is even though he's out it still happens girls drool over your hubby and are just like omg he's so hot blah blah blah it's so irritating I've jumped on a few hoes back in North Carolina cause for some reason fort Bragg/Fayetteville/spring lake is chalk full of barracks whores that are just about the benefits and not actually having a relationship with the soldier like they need the relationship to know someone is gonna be there to lean on you know that's why my husband and I actually clicked he told me your not like the rest of them you actually want relationship huh? And I was like yep cause it's hard on you but it's even harder on them
He just told me about it. We've been talking about it and I'm just afraid of him missing our baby's birth. I can handle the distance. It sucks but I've done it before
My hubby was in the marines when we met he was fresh out of boot camp and we got married less than a year after meeting. It's definitely not an easy life takes a lot to stand by and watch them leave or be gone for months at a time and can be extremely lonely. But on the other hand it can work and ppl do make it work it's for sure something you and him need to talk about together.
Same here my husband was military for 5 years I wasn't with him that whole 5 years but the last year and a half I was it was hell I never got to see him his hours were ridiculous and he wants to go back in as officer but idk how I feel about it cause he'd have to go back to ft Benning in GA without me and what if he gets deployed what goes on over there id much rather have him home and safe
@mazeyy09, those areas the girls just drool like straight up @savanahr777 I don't know to much about Jacksonville but I lived in spring lake for a little bit and omg I'm originally from a little town called Laurinburg that's when my hubby met me when I lived out that way but I didn't truly understand how thirsty these girls were till I moved to Fayetteville spring lake
