@hernandez, well God intended it for calfs not humans as @jgarciamua says. Check out the sugar in ur milk and u might think twice. Also that poor cow stays artificially inseminated forever just so u can have milk they usually inject them within 24 hours of giving birth can u imagine getting preg 24 hr after giving birth. Sorry to go on and on but I grew up on a cattle farm but my grandpa raised them for beef not milk and when u see the process first hand u just feel different. U both should try nut milks they have a great taste and so much better for u. Almond breeze is not top quality but it's forsure not at the bottom either.

my granddad rised cows and those cows eat grass and drank water and every morning he would milk them..as kids we drank the fresh milk from cows and we all grew up fine..its food and nothing is wrong with that.

@michellelee345, that is awesome good for ur family yes unpasteurized milk has awesome health benefits and u were lucky to have it. ( even though it's for calfs) It's so sad that commercial farming cows have corn not grass I bet ur grandpa was a great farmer. Money gets the best of people and they loose track of the importance of health for the animals and the humans. Can u believe unpasteurized is illegal in some states now America is so screwed up.

Im just saying that cows milk is for calfs because it is. That's what God intended it for just as your body produces milk for ur baby. I believe in a plant based diet because I have did my research and know it's what's best for my body. Milk is full or sugar and if your drinking it your craving or wanting the taste of sugar not actually the milk because the sugar in milk is creating dopamine in your brain and the food market is banking on the way our brain works. Some people think animal & animal by product are different & some view it as the same I guess it depends on the persons preference. I was really just trying to show u that sugar is so bad and in milk and cows r mistreated I don't wanna go on and on about it. As for the biblical lesson u want ur welcome to look it up. There is tons of scripture of not eating animals in the bible. were not suppose to have crab or shrimp in the bible either but I must say since I'm not vegan but practice as a vegetarian I randomly do enjoy quality seafood on special occasions.
