My poor chunky monkey in the hospital with an iv in her hand 😢😢😢

hmmm... sounds like my son at 3 weeks. had a uti and my group b strep.

@brynsmommie, she's had a slight fever the last two days and last night she was not herself, was up most the night screaming with a fever of 38.1 so we went straight to the walk in as soon as it opened but because she was a preemie they sent me to the hospital. Poor girl had to get blood taken then a catheter in to collect urine and they wanted to do a spinal which they described as similar to an epidural except the extract fluid but it was unsuccessful. The blood they took was also no good so they had to take more out. They admitted us and got her urine results back which was positive for a uti which they want to monitor so she's been on antibiotics all day and they are sending her for an ultrasound and another attempt at the spinal tomorrow morning. Her fever is now completely gone but they want to do further testing to rule out a bunch of other things. Roller coaster of emotions over here.
