ER last night at midnight for severe abdominal pain, diarrhea and vomiting. Sent home at 4 am. Pump and dump till 10 Am. Returned to ER a little before 8 with more of the same. 315 it was decided that I'm being admitted for IV antibiotics to treat a probable pelvic infection from having my IUD inserted (super uncommon infection). Joshua is three months old and he already went through my freezer stash. This means that he will most likely have to be on formula for a few days, which I know isn't the end of the world, but I'm still feeling heartbroken about it. I'm terrified that he'll like it better and refuse the breast when it's okay to nurse again. I have exclusively breastfed up till now. So, tips on switching him over and then switching him back? #breastfeeding

Prayers momma, and I had to be admitted after I had my daughter and she has to have formula and she drank it because she was hungry but was happy to go back to mommys milk... But may have to strictly do bottles if he won't latch

@babykinzliee2k16, if he won't latch I will use a nipple shield again. He wouldn't latch when he was born so I had to use one for about a week

I had to use one of those for about a month with my daughter after she was born and then I broke her off of it myself

@babykinzliee2k16, ER nurse was wrong. I can still breast feed. Yay!!! Joshua and my SIL are staying the night
