any breastfeeding moms just pump and feed the baby? how is it working out?

I had to do that when my son was in NICU. It was a struggle for me. But if you are consistent and dedicated you can do it. I was to tired to pump from being at the hospital all day

my girl wont feed unless i have a nipple shield on and gets so fussy. i was thinking about pumping and just feeding her that way @mommy_to_be.taylor

She fusses with the nipple shield or without

shes fussy with both but a heck of alot more with just nipple to the point where i have to stop or just change to the shield

Oh okay. I would suggest continuing with the nipple shield but also put her on the breast naked first. I know she fussy but the more she is exposed the better. Have you tried meeting with a lactation consultant
