really? like a uncomfortable kind of pain? lol & dang haha well if i get the surgery i want to do it on a friday so after i go home i can still be able to hold my daughter. do they give u pain medication?

It was uncomfortable. He said I could do it on a Friday and i would be good by Monday to hold my son. I got pregnant with my son on the depo shot, I've had the mirena IUD since April only cuz my first dr wasn't contracted with my insurance for the hospital the surgery would be done at. I have 5 kids and I was done 3 kids ago! Lol

@sktraum, was the surgery painful & the recovery? my dr told me i can schedule a consultation but if i change my mind about the nexoplanon then we can go ahead with the tubes being tied.

I had a consultation on Monday to get mine done. It's going to be done surgically. Not a big deal. I've had a tubal pregnancy before and the surgery is the same. Small incisions.

I've looked into it and may do it or just stay on birth control but usually it's a surgery that u are in and out or have to stay a night maybe two Max in the hospital that's the one I'd opt for

okay thanks! im just trying to see if other moms who got it done had to get it done surgically. i have 2 kids thats enough for me lol

there's different ones do your research online talk to other women who have got it done and also talk to your primary care doctor there's a wide variety of one's they do
