how long can babies go without pooping?

My dr was concerned when my son hadn't pooped for about 5 days. So she switched formula twice and finally got him going again.

I wouldn't be too concerned until you see it start hurting her. Just massage her belly or do the ole q-tip trick. Sounds gross but it really works!
