kind of in a situation me,the oh and sienna have been due to go to a family birthday in london as thats where the oh side lives I'm 36+1 and yesterday my mum full on argued with me because I said I'm going to go. telling how can I even contemplate going so far from home,what if I go into labour on the train or at SIL house I won't know what the hospital would be like or how staff are. I understand what she's saying but I'm confined to the house all week unless people visit and I feel like I need to be around people that are going to be positive and happy so I can relax is that such a bad thing? am I in the wrong?

I live an hour away from London and we go there all the time I feel great in myself. being driven crazy at home lol x

if u feel fine going then i would go. i walked 6 mile last weekend and then another 5 yesterday and it was all uphill. it didnt get her moving nor did a phaal curry. xx

I'm sure you'll be fine, what area are you visiting? Maybe check out the two closest hospitals online so you could put mums mind at ease? I've only got two weeks left & i am still out 'n about with my notes in tow x

Your only 36 weeks & I know it's always a possibility it could happen but it's also a much higher possibility you have a few more weeks yet. It's only an hour away, not like your travelling across country @spanishprincess94 If your happy to travel then it's good for you to be out & about keeping active rather than sitting at home for the next 4-6weeks!

Don't let it stop you going places, it's unlikely you'd go into labour but if you did you'd sort something out. I carried on going on days out away from home up to and over my due date it's good to get out - I ended up 12 days overdue x
