No idea. I had a monitor that they put in my cervix to read the contractions better IDK if that's the same thing?

No it doesn't hurt your baby. I had to have the internal monitor because my son kept moving away from the one on my stomach, he didn't have any marks on his head. He had a red spot, but that was from the vacuum.

I didn't even know it wad screwed in until now😂 but it's just the top layer of their skin. It doesn't hurt them at all. It just kind of clips on. I had to get it with my little one because the monitor on my stomach wasn't reading her heartbeat well.

No. There's a tiny scab for a few days but it doesn't bother them
