When did you mommies start to really feel your baby movements ? I'm 18 weeks today and I don't…

I'll be 21 weeks Saturday and I just started to notice what HAS to be the baby. I'm still not sure though. I heard for first time moms is normal between 20-24 weeks.

So are you both first times mommies ? This is my second pregnancy so I thought I would feel her movements sooner . When I had my son I felt started feeling movements at 20 weeks . A lot of second and so on mommies started feeling movements earliest at 16 most by 18/20 . I'm just so eager to feel her movements lol

I felt her at like 16 weeks and then 18 weeks I could see the twitches from the outside but now I'm 20 weeks tommorow and back to little movement ....

But I guess it depends on the positioning of the baby too like if they're kicking towards your back and they're still small you won't really feel it lol I also get that feeling like a washer machine when she's spinning around lol

@chaylalove, oh wow that's crazy guess she said she was just practicing for down the line just some showing off real quick lol. Were you worried about the decrease when you started to realize she moves less than before ?

Yes I was worried this morning but I was researching it and it seems like a common thing .. Plus I haven't had any cramping or unusual things. I have my ultrasound on Monday so I'll ask them about it

Well that's good then !! Thank god for those what to expect type of sites to relieve your mind about certain stuff !! I get to go see my princess on the 1st il be 19 weeks then and there going to do gender even though I went else where few weeks back to find out . I can't wait because I haven't seen her since I was 14 weeks so I'm anxious to see how much she progressed since .

this is my number 5 and I'm almost 21 weeks and just starting to feel very faint movements. with my other kids I was feeling kicks by now.

yes and the the movements increase as the weeks go by. when you are about 24 weeks you'll feel stronger movements usually.

@momtobeagain, I've been feeling lots of pressure in my lower abdomen during that it's a tightening feeling and it gets hard . I usually massage it then it goes away after awhile . Do you get that feeling ?

It prolly happens like 2 or 3 times a day .

sounds like Braxton Hicks contractions to me. but definitely tell your doctor. I think that's completely normal.
