At how many weeks do they check if your dilated ? & at how many weeks do they check if your baby's head down ?

I just got checked to see if I'm thinned or effaced or dialated for the first time and I'm 36 weeks. Baby has been head down since 34 weeks but now he's officially too big to move back and he dropped.

They should have told you If babies head is down or not, they can tell when they check babies heartbeat. Mine has been head down since 20 something week. I haven't had a cervix check but I'm going to request one at my next checkup in 2 weeks.

My doctor hasn't checked at all and I'm a little concerned 😭 because I wanna know if my baby's head down or now and if I ask they say I have to wait... @teambarnes @gordis13

I got checked at 28 weeks and baby was already head down hopefully he's still head down if they check again

And I was told baby was head down at my 30 week appt because I had an ultrasound done and she was already in position.

I wanna say at about 34-36 weeks?
