Haven't fed Kori since like 6 this morning bc I'm trying to get her to drink from the bottle seriously about to just cave in and breast feed her but my mom keeps telling me she'll drink eventually. Any tips to help get her to drink from a bottle?
No I'll have to try the nipple shields hopefully it helps cause I'm bout to say fuck it and bring her to class and if anyone has a problem they can teach her 😂 @tayek
Also most babies get pissed if their food is interrupted.
She just loves her mommy ❤❤❤ I promise it gets easier. Do you have nipple shields??? That might help her get used to the feel of a bottle's nipple. They're silicone and go over your own nipple while she nurses.
I know i was feeding her but only a little and then would swap to the bottle so it wasn't like she wasn't getting fed at all I gave her enough for her to latch then would switch @tayek but that didn't work only made her angry
@keeping_up_with_kori, I agree with @s_r_z_15
She can't just fast while you're gone but she also shouldn't fast while you're there.
I bought every brand of bottle and nipple to try and my moms tried feeding her but she's refusing no matter what @tayek & I have no other choice she has to drink from a bottle bc I'm going back to school so she can't just not eat while I'm gone @s_r_z_15
My daughter would not accept a bottle. We tried different brands, different sizes, different nipples. Nothing. Wouldn't take bottles. By 5 months we tried her on soft table food and a sippy and she took those. Maybe your LO just isn't a bottle baby?
Try different nipples types. She'll accept it more easily if it feels similar to what she's used to. It took a few different tries but my son takes the Avent Natural bottle or his ComoTomo. Usually from his dad. It took him a few weeks to accept a bottle from me. It may need to be someone else bottle feeding her, she's used to the breast from you. But please don't make her wait to eat, she's very young and that "4th trimester" is a trying time for babies and parents. 😔
Yea I already gave up and fed her but I'm going back to school in 2 weeks so she needs to learn how to drink I don't want the babysitter dealing with her not drinking and then just not feed her at all @tayek otherwise I wouldn't introduce her to drinking from a bottle
She's 2 months old!? Feed her, and then offer the bottle when she is more relaxed. She's probably going to be too upset otherwise. She needs to be comfortable to learn something new.
How did you all wean your child off the bottle? My daughter won’t drink her milk out of a sippy cup for nothing...but will drink her juice out of one..
need suggestions....
So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
Eliana thinks she can suck on her fingers and drink her bottle at the same time.. when she realizes she can’t she gets pissy! 🤦🏻♀️
My baby is almost two weeks old. She’s drinking 2oz of formula and she finishes the bottles. But her grandma over feed her and sometimes gives her two bottle of formula. Usually how much can she drink since she’s still two little..?
Trying to get baby to drink from a bottle since I will be returning to work...HELP?? I have had others give her the bottle & she still refuses it. We are using Tommee Tippee & Medela bottles...
@keeping_up_with_kori, THAT'S RIGHT MAMA!!!
