Yeah I'd wait until 2 months at least. They get their DTaP, which includes the tetanus shot. They then get it again at 4 months as a booster

yeah is better after the shots and some doctors do it and is safer. you can ask your pediatrician or even look into a different pediatrician to do it. the usually charge like $20

@momtobeagain, where do you ladies live where they charged 20 dollars? I had to pay 140 for professional pediatrician ear doctor to do. it was 90 to pierced my daughter ears and 50 for the earrings 😣. @taytay88 the doctor recommend after her first set of shots so I agree with everyone around two months

I did it in New York for one of my girls and then here in Massachusetts for the other one. I went to pediatrics 2000 in NY and I went to pediatrics associates in Salem MA
