who has had preeclampsia? what were your blood pressure readings like? I just took mine because I am supposed to be watching it and it was 150/95 and on call doctor told me to watch it and come in to office in the morning. my chest is a little tighter than normal but I feel okay? this all just started today at my appt when my BP was 152/83

I'm currently in the hospital. for high blood pressure. they told me if top number is above 140 or bottom is above 90 to go in..... I've had good blood pressure til today at my appointment it was 141/100 as of now it's 145/70..... and I'll be 32 weeks tmrw. she said if it don't come down they will take her. they gave a steroid shot to help her lungs. I'd watch it for awhile ..... prop ur feet up and drink lots of water.
@10yearslater0205, yeah she told me to call her if it went above 90 so I wasn't really sure if that was considered like super high or what!
@dijahhh, @ashbabash18 @aaquino @jessicarose0602 thank you guys! I'm just going to watch it tonight I guess and call my nurse first thing in the morning when they open! she told me to let her know if the bottom got above 90 so I guess I'll just have to see what they say!
I was just told it's the bottom number they really worry about I think yours is ok even though your top number was 150.. I'd call anyway to make sure ... They can check your urine .. I had pre e with my first I ended up having her at 37 weeks it was best
i was diagnosed with pre eclampaia at 35 weeks i was diagnosed on a Friday in monday they sent me to the hospital to be induced i wish i could remember my reading but it happen so fast i was on blood pressure medicine the whole time as well as an oxygen mask worst labor experience of my life until my daughter was finally out and safe that is lol what ever my readings were it was enough to scare the crap out of the nurse a few time and have her run out the room just to have a team of people come running in
They were surprised I stabilized that night! I don't even remember anything about that night lol but I had severe preeclampsia and hellp syndrome and delivered at 31 weeks
The first time mine skyrocketed I knew I'd have to be induced. I can't remember the numbers, but after a week of high measures, I was induced.
it literally just popped up today! my BP has been book perfect this whole time except today when they checked it and that's when they started asking me if I've had any other symptoms... did they have to do a csection? @jessicarose0602
Mine would spike up to 200s/180 at times. Typically they stayed around 180/150s
when I was 36 weeks mine was 140/90. my doctor decided to induce at 37 weeks. when my labor got intense my blood pressure actually went up to 200/100 and the nurses kept administering medicine to get it to drop. it was horrible 😭😭 considering you are 39 weeks with high BP, I'm honestly surprised they haven't induced you.
so far. just have to pee again lol I'm chilling . I can't sleep. I have a sleep disorder and my Dr took that along with my other meds -.- so I'm awake.... at almost midnight. lol hope you get to feeling better @amber188
