You can start pumping now. Your body will still produce colostrum based off of your child's saliva, your breast milk caters to your child's needs. You can also freeze the colostrum you pump now and use it when your baby gets sick down the road. Just know that pumping can cause you to have contractions and go into labor, since you are 37 weeks you should consult with your doctor
