Just out of curiosity..what's technically easier:

I feel like A. is harder on the front end and B is harder when they're older. Idk though. Mine will be 4 years apart but I think it'll be easier like that because my 4 year old will be able to help out and I won't have two kids who are in the same stage needing a lot from me when I'm still healing haha.

I think having them close is easier because I come from a family of 7 an I loved having siblings close In age to do things with I also had a few siblings around a 5 year age gap an it was good too, didn't have much in common lol

I'm not experienced, but I'm thinking kids close in age are harder. I'm going to wait until my daughter is like four or five before I have another. I want her to be more independent and helpful. I don't want to be taking care of multiple babies! Haha. I'm tired enough as it is.

@ryliannsmommy, but from a parents stand-point... ??... I have a sister that she and I are 21 months apart. And then my youngest sister and I are 6 years apart. Yes, I agree I definitely was closer with my sister whom I was close in age with. But, I bet it was super hard to raise two under two.

@jennatess, I'm going to wait until my daughter is 2 then start trying, I just want to have them close cause I loved having my sister close in age plus I don't want to be 30 an having children 😂 getting it done as soon as possible. my mom said it was actually easier when having us close in age because we entertained each other most the time an two older kids were very jealous an needed her than we did actually. but its really just personal preference

My little sister is 12, I'm 18, and my older sister is 22. we all get along great and are very close. i prefer it like that too cause we are all independent in school and stuff like that. i always hated the idea of going to school with my sisters. & my older sister and i could help out around the house while mom was recovering.

@ryliannsmommy, as much as I would have loved to have kids younger, I wasn't financially stable. I like that because my husband I waited, we already have a substantial collage fund saved up and she's only just now one. I honest thing I will only have one child - buttttt, If we do have more, I know I'd like to wait. Two in diapers sounds like a nightmare to me 😂. But you're absolutely right! It's definitely a personal preference. And, some moms are super-mom's who can handle whatever God (or toddlers, lol) throw at them! My patience isn't as strong. 😅

@jennatess, yeah! I just would like to be able go go on vacation an have my kids able to do everything with husband an I instead of being little an missing out, I plan on having all my kids (two more) by 25, but will see. my daughters a handful right now an she is about to be one 😂

My oldest daughter Ari'Yanna (Ari) && my middle daughter Ca'liyah (LiyahLou) are 4y1m1d apart...so much easier bc I could focus more on the baby's needs && she kinda was at the age she did her own thing @a long as me && her dad approved. Just 2 weeks after I had her sister she went to Disney World for a week with her grandparents lol. Now I have LiyahLou && Zih'ayn (Plum) who are 2y3m12d apart..I have that 2 under 2 && it is hard

but my bf is assigned the 2 oldest && I have the baby. LiyahLou loves her baby sister but I've noticed alittle more whining from her and always wanting to be carried up or down the stairs. Drives me nuts!!!!!! Not to mention buying pullups && diapers. My 4th won't be in the cards until Plum is 4 if not 5 years old.

@naomiedgd I'm the middle out of 5 girls...never grew up in the same household together but I was closer to my oldest sister who was 8 years from me vs my 2 youngest sisters who are 5, 6 years apart from me. My 2nd oldest sister I didn't meet until I was 18.

My boys are 18 mos apart, and the oldest was potty trained by the time the second was born...

I can't speak from personal experience because I'm a ftm, but as a nanny of 4 years I found it to be easy. Especially if the older child is potty trained. I cared for a 9 month old and a 2 year old, also an 18 month old and a 4 year old. I plan on trying for my second when this baby is 2.
