so basically the first stage of labor feels and is like a period. u get cramps horrible back pain, loose bowels and blood. great. wish i could just go into active labor. 😒

My first went like this, I was 40w3d & on Thursday I had sex with my boyfriend(now husband) and then went on a giant walk, that night I started getting contractions but they weren't so severe it was just kind of hard to sleep and then all day Friday they got super bad so I finally went in at 11 and they told me to go home and then went back at 3 and they finally gave me an epidural. I didn't even have her till Saturday. I'm like how do these girls get so lucky to have their babies come within 4-6 hours 😒😒😒😭

Should I let my x know when labor starts
My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her ...
