Help! My child is going bald is this normal for her hair to just fall out? And how can I get it to grow back?

it's normal, my oldest was born with a head full of dark brown/black hair, it all fell out and came in blonde.

@madisynmommy, the doctor said it will even out over time but when I research it says it may not. I hope it does. Then I will have a spotted child.

my sons back is terrible! His face is mostly his cheeks, mouth,neck,and then a few spots on his arms and legs.

yup! same here. I was using aquaphor but ran out and found a good deal on the Eucerin. But I wonder how long it will take. Is your daughters skin real discolored?

@haydensmommy5, does Eucerin work? Cause I feel like the aveeno isn't helping at all

@peytonsmommay17, her doctor prescribed an ointment, but I stopped using it after the 5 days she told me to use it due to the steroids. And she told me to use aquaphor and aveeno eczema

I been using Aveeno, Dr didn't give me anything. I'm looking into pediatric dermatologist

@peytonsmommay17, Same here. I been using Eucerin twice a day. The doctor gave me a steroid cream if it flares up again.You?

@madisynmommy, ,@peytonsmommay17 my sons started on his face and cleared up, then spread to all over his body. He had real bad cradle cap in his head and eyebrows. Both have cleared up but he is discolored all over too. Did your doctor say her skin would even out?

@haydensmommy5, it's bad. First it cleared up on her face, but it came back and spreading all over her body

glad to know I'm not alone @madisynmommy my daughter just turn 3 months and she is losing her hair in the back and sides. It looks crazy,lol

My son lost all his hair and is just now starting to have it grow back, 8 months. And my daughter, mostly went bald and made a come back at 4 months and now her sides went bye bye but I'm seeing a small amount come back, 8 months. It's totally normal mama, at happens to all growing babies :)

@jaxmomma all that is left on her head is the top and a little tail of hair in the back she'll be 4 months next week

Oh yes. It will fall out. Usually in the back first. It will grow back on its own. When my son was 2-3 months old he lost the majority of his hair, but now has a full head and he's 5 months 😊
