Can't get Isaac to nurse without the nipple shield...ideas? I couldn't get him to nurse at all this morning, I had to pump and give him a bottle :/ I don't know what to do. The shield is just getting in the way at this point.

My daughter is almost 6 months. I can get her too latch with out sometimes but she won't all the time. I just try it often too get her use too it. I watched videos on YouTube as well

Sleep associations.. I've created some bad sleep associations like nursing him until he's fallen asleep or rocking him until he's completely asleep and then putting him down and I can't do that anymore. It's getting so much harder to rock him to sleep because he's getting bigger and I have a bad back. I honestly don't know how to get him to fall asleep on his own :( do you ladies have any advice ?

hang in there mommy's my son was the same way at birth now he won't take the shield or a pacifier or bottle and he's 2nd a half weeks tomorrow
