FTM... I'm 36 weeks and was dilate to a 2 and 75% effaced last week. Just within the last day I have a head ache and have also been having pressure down there. I have no idea what contractions feel like but my back is achy it tenses up then goes away. Are those considered contractions?

I would just try to relax.. Take a warm bath, drink some water & lay down.. If it seems like they still there & coming in a pattern then call ur doc

Back labor feels like your spine is being slowly ripped out from the bottom.. It's awful...

Sounds like you're having contractions. I agree with @mzbritt89, try relaxing and if they seem more intense/more frequent call you're doctor.
