I got one done and went into labor about 4 hours later :)

I wonder how that works also... I never heard of it till some of you all started mentioning it...

how does that work

I was stripped 3 times (once a week starting once I was 37 weeks) before I was induced at 41+3, stripped another 2 times during my two 2 days of labor (that wasn't actually labor because I wasn't having contractions or professing) and still didn't go into labor for another 24 hours after the last sweep. What finally got labor going for me was sleeping with this peanut ball that the give you between your legs
